Money Saving Monday

I've pieced together a great deal for those who have little ones that are in diapers and/or use wipes. While I'm certainly not brand loyal when shopping, Huggies is my favorite, so I'm always happy to put together a deal with their products! Yipee!

First, you'll need to head to your Publix baby aisle. There they have a booklet titled:

Kimberly Clark and Unliver Present:
The Little Book of Big Joys

Grab some. When you first open it up there is information on a rebate (see it HERE*). Basically it says you'll receive a $10 Publix Gift Card when you buy $30 in Kimberly Clark/Unilever products. But who actually wants to spend $30 out of pocket right? We'll fix that up in a jiffy.

Now, we'll piece together this deal. There are a lot of variables when it comes to the diapers because of all the different coupon values off the diapers that are out right now. The deals I'm listing are based off of the coupons I had or am aware of. So you may to do a little tweaking of your own, but either way you're in for a good deal!

Deal #1 - Diapers and wipes
(1) Big box of diapers = $19.99
(4) Tubs of wipes (64 count) = $11.96 (@ $2.99/each)

Total Before Coupons = $31.95 (plus tax)
So easy, we've just hit our $30 requirement to be eligible for the rebate. Now let's bring down our out of pocket expense. Here are the coupons I used for my deal:

(1) $5/1 any Huggies boxed diapers (Publix Baby Club coupon)
(1) $3/1 any Huggies diapers (Manufacturer coupon, home mailer I believe)
(4) $1.50/1 any Huggies wipes (Publix coupon, The Little Book of Big Joys)
(4) $0.50/1 Huggies wipes (Manufactuer coupon, 1/17 SS)
(1) $5 off your shopping order (Harvey's store coupon)

My total out of pocket = $10.95
As if that wasn't good enough, now I'll mail in my rebate, receive a $10 gift card, so it brings my spending down to just $0.95 for a large box of diapers and 4 tubs of wipes! Not too shabby!

Variable to Deal #1
You could do this same deal with these coupons:
(1) $3/1 Publix coupon (The Little Book of Big Joys)
(1) $1.50 Manufacturer coupon (1/17 SS)
(4) $1.50/1 any Huggies wipes (Publix coupon, The Little Book of Big Joys)
(4) $0.50/1 Huggies wipes (Manufactuer coupon, 1/17 SS)

Total out of pocket = $19.45
After gift card, you're looking at just $9.45! Not bad at all! Of course a $ off your purchase coupon will make your out of pocket even lower.

Deal #3 - For those who don't need diapers, but just wipes!
(11) Tubs of wipes (64 count) = $32. 89 (@ $2.99/each)

Total Before Coupons = $32.89 (plus tax)

Coupons to use:
(11) $1.50/1 any Huggies wipes (Publix coupon, The Little Book of Big Joys)
(11) $0.50/1 Huggies wipes (Manufactuer coupon, 1/17 SS)

Out of pocket = $10.89
After gift card, that's just $0.89 for 11 tubs of wipes! To make this deal sweeter: if you have a $5 off a $30 purchase; then you'd only spend $5.89 out of pocket, turning this into a $4.11 money maker!

So you see where I'm headed with all this? I hope this can inspire you to put together an awesome deal for your family. Remember, even if you don't need diapers and/or wipes, maybe you could do this deal and donate to a family in need that you know or take it to a local shelter! Imagine the relief you would bring for a struggling parent out there!

Coupon variables summary (that I am aware of):
Diapers - $5/1 Publix Baby Club coupon; $10/2 Publix Baby Club coupon; $1.50/1 Manufacturer coupon (1/17 SS); $2/1 or $3/1 Manufacturer coupon (home mailer); $3/1 Publix coupon (The Little Book of Big Joys)

Wipes- $1.50/1 Publix coupon (The Little Book of Big Joys); $0.50/1 Manufactuer coupon (1/17 SS); $0.75/1 Manufacturer coupon (Printable); $0.50/1 FLIP (Food Lion Internet Printable)

Important! Don't have these manufacturer coupons, or not enough to do the deal? No worries! You can order from HERE and HERE. I have used both services and they are equally fast and efficient! Confused by any Acronyms I've stuck in here? Learn their meanings HERE.

*Please note: Read the fine print on the rebate. All $30 worth of products must be bought on one receipt between 1/11/10 - 2/13/10; envelopes must be postmarked by 2/19/10.

Happy Monday Saving Monday! Please leave a comment of the deal you did, I love hearing from you guys!
